A LITTLE GRAVITY GOES A LONG WAY

Meet your new
block habit.

Guide falling pieces around a 4 × 4 grid. When two equal blocks share a face, they become one block with double the value. Gravity brings the stack down and can trigger more merges.

  1. Find your spot. Use the arrow keys or the on-screen arrows. The outlined blocks show where your piece will land.
  2. Get a different angle. Q and E rotate the piece. Z and X rotate the board left and right. You can also use the view buttons.
  3. Make it count. Press Space or tap Drop to land instantly. Chain reactions boost your score.

Reach 2048 and keep going. The game ends when a new piece no longer fits. Chill mode gives you more time; Classic picks up the pace. After game over, choose Inspect board to explore the final stack. Escape switches between the board and results.
